Terms of Service

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of alpinetherapy.ca (the “Website”) and your booking of services with Alpine Sport Therapy Centre (“Alpine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Using Our Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or anything that disrupts the Website.
  • Copy or scrape Website content for commercial use without our written permission.
  • Provide false or misleading information when contacting us or booking.

We may update, suspend, or remove any part of the Website at any time without notice.

Health Information Disclaimer

The content on our Website, including our injury guides and service pages, is for general information only. It is not medical advice and does not replace a professional assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Every person and injury is different, so please speak with a qualified healthcare provider about your own situation.

In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not rely on the Website, email, or our phone line for urgent care.

Booking Appointments

You can book by phone at (403) 259-2000 or through our online booking page, which is hosted by Jane App. A referral from a physician is not required to see a physiotherapist in Alberta, though some insurance plans may ask for one.

By booking, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you agree to receive treatment from our licensed practitioners. Treatment plans are personalized, and individual results can vary.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We ask that you give us advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can offer your time to another patient. [Insert your cancellation notice period and any late-cancellation or missed-appointment fee here.]

Fees and Payment

Fees depend on the service and practitioner and are payable at the time of your visit unless direct billing has been arranged. Current fee information is available on our Fee/Insurance page or by calling the clinic.

Insurance and Direct Billing

We offer direct billing for many extended health insurers. Physiotherapy, massage therapy, and acupuncture are commonly covered, but coverage varies by plan.

  • Please check your policy before your visit to confirm what is covered.
  • We are currently unable to direct bill for athletic therapy, though many insurers reimburse it when you submit the claim yourself.
  • You are responsible for any amount your insurer does not pay.
  • Bring your insurance details to each visit so we can process your claim correctly.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and design, belongs to Alpine or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

Reviews and Third-Party Content

The Website displays patient reviews from Google. These reflect the views of the reviewers, not Alpine. We link to third-party sites, such as our booking page and social media, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or free of errors, or that the Website will always be available.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpine and its practitioners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Alberta or Canadian law, including for professional services.

Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Alberta.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Website means you accept the updated Terms.
